Federal Maple Academy-decorated Bird's-eye Maple Table, probably New England, early 19th century, the rectangular top with rounded corners on a straight skirt with drawer joining ring-turned tapering legs ending in ball feet, old surface, the top with decoupage decoration showing several church buildings bordered by grapevines, the drawer with scrolling vines centering a lyre, wind instrument and sheet music, the sides similarly decorated with instruments and baskets of fruit, the legs with oak leaf and acorn vine decoration, (imperfections), ht. 30 1/2, wd. 24, dp. 14 in.
