Two Portrait Miniatures of Women, Continental, 19th century, both indistinctly signed l. r., watercolor and gouache on ivory, probably done for the tourist trade, one round depicting the lady dressed in a white gown dia. 2 3/8, in a carved wooden frame with brass liner; the other is oval depicting the lady in a blue gown, 2 3/8 x 1 3/4 in., in an ivory veneer frame. Condition: The woman in the white gown shows a few very small marks c.l.
