Continental School, 19th century. "Mother and Children", oil on canvas, apparently unsigned. Figural painting depicting a young mother with six children standing outside of a rustic stark cottage. Children wearing similar provincial clothing, a child with back facing viewer eating porridge as his brother holds out his bowl asking for some as well; mother holding baby in arms. Unframed 28.5" x 24".
