Sunderland Luster Transfer Decorated Pitcher, England, early 19th century, the pearlware pitcher with black transfer printed and polychrome enamel decoration with pink luster embellishments, with a depiction of A Frigate in Full Sail, on one side, the reverse with An East View of the New Bridge, Sunderland, and a pious verse in an oval floral wreath below the spout, decorated with red, blue, green, and yellow enamels, (repaired handle, chips), ht. 7 3/4 in.
