Watercolor on ivory, showing a bust-length portrait of the gentleman wearing a black jacket, white shirt and black cravat, a patterned white vest and a gold brooch inscribed with the initials "JCC," 2 7/8 x 2 1/4 in., mounted in a period dark mahogany frame with gilt brass liner. Condition: Ivory with two cracks.
