Two Cobalt Decorated Stoneware Pitchers, America, late 19th century, wide neck vessels with applied strap handles, decorated with cobalt blue stylized flower and leaf sprigs around the neck and body, and outlining the handle terminals, (hairline on taller vessel, spout chip and base chips on small vessel), ht. 11, 8 3/8 in. Lg. pitcher- 3 in. hairline coming down from rim a couple inches to the right of spout looking staight on. small pitcher- 1 in. dia. spout chip on smaller pitcher, several old and a couple newer shallow base edge chips 1/4 to 3/4 in. lg.
