Frederic Schiller Cozzens (American, 1846-1828) Off Montauk. Signed and dated "1904" l.l., titled on small brass plaque below. Watercolor on paper, sight size 12 1/2 x 19 1/2 in., matted and mounted in a mitered giltwood frame. Condition: Toning, two light stains, small paint loss l.l., not examined out of frame. 558- about 2/3 of the painting has dark toning, there are several unobtrusive light stains to the sky area, two stains in the lighter toned area of the painting are slightly more prevalent.
