English Georgian mahogany secretaire bookcase with projecting pediment over a pair of astragal glazed doors enclosing an interior with adjustable shelves, the case with slant front opening to an interior fitted with central parquetry star-inlaid prospect door concealing two small drawers and a hidden valanced drawer, flanked to each side by fluted pilasters also removable, 4 valanced pigeon holes over 3 drawers to each side and a gilt tooled leather inlaid writing surface above 4 graduated, beaded long drawers, each with individual locking mechanisms and raised on bracket feet. Height 89.25", width 45", depth 23".
