Rare Chippendale Mahogany Carved and Mahogany Veneer Dressing Table, Rhode Island, c. 1765-85, the rectangular slightly overhanging top with molded edge and applied molding below, above a cockbeaded case of long drawer and central drawer flanked by deeper drawers, below which is a carved convex shell and scrolled skirt continuing to rontal cabriole legs ending in claw and ball feet, the similarly scrolled side joined to the rear cabriole legs ending in pad feet on platforms, replaced brasses, refinished, (minor restoration), ht. 33, wd. 34, dp. 20 1/4 in.
