Federal Cherry Inlaid Linen Press, New Jersey, c. 1790, the molded swan's neck cresting with carved pinwheel terminals centering a brass eagle finial on a crossbanded keystone, on a flat cornice molding and cockbeaded case of hinged doors centering inlaid ovals within mitered panels and crossbanding opening to a shelved interior above two short drawers, set into the reverse serpentine lower case of four drawers, the top most of which is inlaid to match the doors above, all on cutout feet and valanced skirt, replaced brasses, refinished, (imperfections and restoration), ht. 80 1/2, wd. 42, dp. 22 1/2 in.
