Federal Paint-decorated Chamberstand, probably Vermont, early 19th century, the scrolled splashboard above a pierced square top, medial shelf and drawer all joining square tapering legs, original yellow painted surface bordered with black banding, the splashboard centering a vase of leaves, (minor imperfections), ht. 36, wd. 16 3/4, dp. 16 1/2 in. Note: Underside of drawer with various inscriptions and dated 1834.
