Pair of Silhouette Portraits of Amasa and Eliza Perrin, Massachusetts, c. 1830, sitters identified in inscriptions on the reverse, hollow-cut half-length portraits over black paper with ink and watercolor highlights, 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 in. (sight), in black painted molded wood frames. Condition: toning, minor foxing Note: Inscriptions on the reverse indicate "Eliza Wilmarth Perrin was born in Attleborough, Massachusetts, September 21, 1812, and died in 1901 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, the silhouette was taken when she was 18 years old; Amasa Perrin was born in Seekonk, Massachusetts, March 5, 1805, he died in 1860, also in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, the silhouette taken when he was 25 years old."
