Warren McKenzie (b. 1924) Bowl Pottery Minnesota Deep bowl decorated in the Japanese folk tradition with ocher and brown markings on a rust ground, artist's mark on side, glaze chip on rim, ht. 5, dia. 17 in. Warren McKenzie creates clean-lined pottery influenced by Asian folk pottery traditions. He studied under Bernard Leach from 1949-1952. Mackenzie is professor emeritus at the University of Minnesota.
