Continental Neoclassical Parcel-gilt and Ebonized Wood Side Cabinet, second quarter 19th century, rectangular case with carved frieze drawer and two doors, flanked by blackamoor maidens, on paw feet, ht. 36 1/2, wd. 40, dp. 18 1/2 in. Some chipping to figures and minor losses to giltwood; very dirty; lacking one keyhole escutcheon; doors applied with some "Stick-em" putty causing some discoloration; color B-; nice proportion.
