Regency Rosewood Tea Caddy, first half 19th century, sarcophagus form, on ball feet, interior with two two lidded wells, and later Victorian fabric and detailing, ht. 7 3/4, wd. 9 1/4, dp. 7 in. Edge veneer to inner rim of box lifting somewhat due to age shrinkage; right front corner piece of veneer missing. Box falls over backwards when lid is open and unsupported. Minor shrinkage line to back panel. Underside of base trim between right front and rear feet missing. Fabric lined interior.
