English Ivory Pique Handled Walking Stick, probably late 17th century, the classical form handle with vertical zig-zag lines of pique offset with incised zig-zag incising, the top with stylized flowerhead shaped pique and incising, hole drilled through handle, with malacca shaft with brass eyelet holes, full lg. 38 1/8 in. All of the upper ends of the zig-zag lines with at least ten missing cut steel pieces to each line and with other scattered losses to lower lines and medallions; two sizeable cracks to lower edges near shaft, both 1-2 inches; shaft with age typical minor discolorations.
