Two Wedgwood Black Jasper Vases and Covers, England, 19th and 20th century, a dipped cup form with cupid finial, applied white arabesque floral design between various foliate borders, ht. 8 3/4 in.; and a solid black bottle shape with applied white classical groups between foliate frames and bordered with foliate designs, ht. 10 1/2 in.; impressed marks. Cup shaped vase: cover with shallow edge chips professionally restored; cup with professionally restored rim chips. Bottle shape: cover a replacement and with restored finial and insert collar; vase in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restorations.
