Currier & Ives, publishers (American, 1857-1907) Lot of Two Works: Outward Bound. , and Homeward Bound., both undated vignettes (Conningham, 4666, 2886). Identified in inscriptions in the matrix. Small folio lithographs with hand-coloring on paper, sheet sizes 11 3/4 x 14 5/8, 9 7/8 x 14 in., respectively. Condition: Both toned, Outward Bound with minor foxing, stains, small loss u.l. corner, in a period grain-painted frame; Homeward Bound with stains, repaired tears, in a contemporary molded wood frame. Outward Bound- some remains of cellophane tape on upper edge, u.l. corner and c.l. edge, the darkish stains are from wood backing; Homeward Bound- stained and toned sheet from acid backing, some spots of darker stains along lower edge into title lettering, there are about 7 fairly unobtrusive creases associated with repaired tears in all four quadrants.
