Second Series Portrait Jumeau Bebe, impressed 5 , with pressed bisque head, closed mouth, fixed threaded cornflower-blue eyes in wide almond cut, shaded eyelids, softly feathered brows, pierced ears (piercing chips), original blonde mohair wig on cork pate, and straight-wrist floating-ball jointed papier-mache body in original finish ink-stamped Jumeau Medaille D'Or, Paris , in probably original black velvet coat dress with lace borders and watered silk details, cotton undergarments, knitted socks, brown leather shoes (left missing rosette) and bonnet, ht. 15 1/2 in., (small rub on nose, faint hairline and some uneveness on forehead, red firing line above right eyebrow, raised firing lines behind both ears). Please note: some uneveness on forehead. Earring chips both ears, light red firing line right eyebrow, faint horizontal hairline on forehead, firing line behind right ear, uneven bisque on forehead revealed when head is lit, costume apparently period but slightly large for doll around the neck.
