Large Steiff Cinnamon Mohair Teddy Bear, c. 1905, with underscored "F" button in ear, black shoe button eyes, shaved muzzle, black embroidered nose, mouth and claws, cream felt pads, excelsior stuffing, black hump, long limbs and large feet, ht. 27 1/2 in., (overall fine condition, several small spots of moth damage on back, some fiber loss on stomach, right leg, and hind pad). Overall v. good, bright and original condition, small spots of fur loss as noted, including back and chest, mohair sparse on muzzle, original pads, small hole in left paw pad, one hole left foot pad and two holes right foot pad, stuffing has settled around neck joint.
