Wendell Corwin Chase (American, 1897-1988) Lot of Two Mountain Vistas: Mirror Lake, 1924; and Mount Baker. Signed "W. Corwin Chase..." l.r. in ink and pencil, respectively, both titled l.l. Color woodcuts on paper, images sizes to 11 1/2 x 8 3/8 in. (29.0 x 21.3 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Subtle toning, the former with subtle water damage to image near the lower edge. Margins to Mirror Lake about 1/4 inch and with spreading to green inks (possibly due to water damage or the nature of the ink). Margins to Mount Baker about 1/2 inch. Both are very subtly toned.
