Harry Sternberg (American, 1904-2002) The Dance - Superstition. Signed "Harry Sternberg A.U." in pencil l.r., titled in pencil l.c., stamped "FEDERAL ART PROJECT NYC WPA" l.l. Etching and aquatint on paper, plate size 9 x 11 7/8 in. (22.7 x 30.0 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Margins over 3/4 inches with deckled edges, subtle breaks to paper fibers at plate mark, loss to corner of margin u.r., tears to lower edge (1/4 inch or less), subtle toning and soiling.
