Chinese, possibly Ming Dynasty (1368–1644). Chinese celadon glazed Longquan charger with the interior base decorated with a three clawed dragon within a band of arranged petals and having a petal-barbed rim. Height 2.75", diameter 14.15". Provenance: The consignor's mother began collecting Chinese antiquities back in the 1960's. The majority of her collection was acquired from her great paternal grandparents who were from the China city of Guangzhou, in the province of Guangdong.
