Three Queen Anne/George I Silver Tablespoons, London, one 1700 dog-nose, George Cox, maker, lg. 7 7/8, the other two with obscured date marks, one Richard Scarlett, maker, lg. 7 7/8, the other maker's mark PS, possibly Peter Simon, lg. 7 7/8 in., approx. 5 troy oz. spoon with PS maker''s mark with repair through stem, significant melting to bowl, engraved with monograms dated 1747 and 1810. Scarlet example lacking date letter, with one contemporary, and one 19th century monogram. Cox example with rubbed, but discernable marks, monogram, and small repairs to tip of bowl.
