Continental Malachite and Gilt Metal Casket, late 19th century, rectangular, with beaded rims, on acanthus feet, 10 3/4 x 4 3/4 x 5 1/2 in. previously with fabric-lined interior, now removed, leaving paper lining. age typical wear to gilding/darkening of metal. lacking detail over escutcheon. right side with cracks, chips, and some losses to malachite. no key.
