Small Continental Silver Casket, 17th/18th century, possibly Belgian, rectangular, with domed lid, front with small winged angel bust latch, sides with lion masks, on bracket feet, engraved throughout with foliate scrolls, lid, front, and rear panels with scenes of the stages of courtship, ht. 3 1/4, wd. 3 5/8, dp. 2 1/2 in., approx. 8 troy oz. lid lacking lifting handle, one lion mask handle lacking tiny loop pendant. minor edge nicks and wear to feet. front of lid engraved with small crest.
