Adapted English Silver Hot Water Pot, London, cylindrical body, 1827, Charles Fox, maker, chased and embossed with leaftip rim and rocaille foot, adapted with a later short spout and foliate handle, the rocaille lid hallmarked 1886, makers' mark RH RH, with foliate finial, ht. 5 1/2 in., approx. 9 troy oz. handle and spout not marked. handle with visible solder joins to body, and with spots of solder to end of scroll at top. wear to top of spout.
