Walnut Carved and Glazed Corner Cupboard, probably Virginia, late 18th century, in two parts, top section with three serpentine molded shelves, old refinish, (minor imperfections), ht. 92 1/2, dp. 29, wd. 57 in. Note: Secondary wood is yellow pine. separation at left edge of left glazed door; two long drawers with patches to thumbmolding; secondary wood yellow pine; minor patching to bottom inside corners of glazed doors and area on center element; small patches on the lower right door at both hinges; diagonal area of backboard 39 1/2 in. The bottom of the top section has been cut down; the base is chamfered rather than molded.
