Mochaware Ewer and Bowl, Creil pottery, France, c. 1810, each banded in brown with dark brown dendritic trees and underbrush on a white field, with impressed maker's mark on bottom, (bowl with repaired cracks, hairline on pitcher rim, chip on handle), ht. 11, 5 1/2 in. Provenance: This bowl was formerly in collection of Jonathan Rickard, with label on bottom of bowl. Old 1 in. dia. base chip on bowl, mostly on underside.
