Compass Star Inlaid Mahogany Tea Caddy, England, c. 1800, rectangular form with hinged lid centered with an inlaid eight-point star, the interior with three paper-lined compartments, two with star inlaid mahogany lids flanking round compartment for mixing bowl, (repair on rear edge of lid), ht. 6, w. 11 3/4, dp. 5 3/4 in. 2 1/4 x 1/16 in. piece of edging replaced on rear right edge of lid.
