Rosewood and Gilt Column Shelf Clock, Connecticut, c. 1870, the unmarked clock with paper on zinc dial, lower transfer decorated tablet of two roses all flanked by gold-leafed half columns, eight-day time and strike spring powered movement with countwheel strike and pendulum, ht. 17 in. Paper dial is a replacement, some losses on tablet, old surface and original gilding.
