Silver-Plated Skeleton Clock, c. 1870, the vertical plated movement with five arm crossings on balance and regulating scale at the top, dead-beat pallets, club foot escape wheel, 7 1/8 in. dial skeletonized dial with Roman numerals and second's dial, on a lyre shaped fretted pedestal, ebonized wooden base and glass dome, ht. 18 in. No significant repairs or replacements. Glass dome appears to be the original.
