Jeweled Saber, Turkey, 18th century, repousse silver scabbard with design of arabesques and trophy arms, hangers and bosses of silver with Soloman's star and a tughra, all set with emeralds, diamonds, and rubies, hilt with a silver hand guard set with the same, grip of Mughal style, pistol shape, made of white jade inset with a herringbone pattern in gold and set with diamonds, emeralds, and rubies, watered steel blade of typical Turkish form inlaid with gold and including two inscriptions on either side, blade lg. 28, overall lg. 34 1/2 in.
