Continental Chip-carved Mahogany Blanket Chest, 18th century, likely Dutch, with rectangular top and case, the front panels chip carved throughout, the interior carved with two pinwheels with wrought iron decorative metalwork and stemmed bun feet, ht. 18, wd. 46, dp. 22 in. Top with two large shrinkage cracks; feet heavily scuffed and with losses, also likely reduced; good color and carving.
