Joel Hewes Tray Sterling silver Pennsylvania, early 20th century Circular form with pinched and cut pie crust rim, marked Joel F. Hewes Handwrought Sterling in a triangle on base, approx. 10 troy oz., dia. 6 7/8 in. Note: Joel F. Hewes is listed in The Society of Arts and Crafts, Boston, Exhibition Record 1897-1927. He was a noted silversmith and metalworker working from 1908-1927 in Titusville, Pennsylvania.
