Louis XVI Provincial Marquetry-inlaid Three-drawer Work Table, c. 1790, rectangular top and case, inlaid with a floral spray, upper drawer fitted with a writing surface and wells, crossbanded to top and drawers, on square, tapering legs ending in brass caps, ht. 27, wd. 16, dp. 11 in. Slight loss to raised lip to right side; small strip to front of top replaced; thin color; very good size and quality; age typical minor defects.
