After Raffaelo Santi, called Raphael (Italian, 1483-1520) Madonna della Sedia. Unsigned. Oil on canvas, 30 x 30 in., in an elaborate gilt and gesso frame. Condition: Lined, retouched, surface grime, varnish inconsistencies, craquelure with alligatoring. Provenance: A New York philanthropic Jewish organization. N.B. The original, painted circa 1518, is in the collection of the Galleria Palatina, Palazzo Pitti, Florence.
