Huey (1866-1947), Friendship, Maine, early 20th century, the decoys with incised eyes and bills, mortised head with horsehair crest, the base with incised maker's signature "G R HUEY" and incised duck and deer head, also owners brand "P.CARTER, " (repaint, paint wear and horsehair losses with use), ht. 7 1/8, lg. 18 7/8 in. Repainted, three fine cracks about 3 in. long on one lower side.
