Two Small Profile Portraits of Gentlemen, c. 1830, the first a reverse-painted and gilt on glass bust-length portrait depicting "Sir Patton Sykes 1827," dated and identified below, 4 x 3 5/8 in., in a molded bird's-eye maple frame; the second done in watercolor on thin card heightened with gum arabic, (toning, minute paint losses on collar), 4 1/2 x 3 1/4 in., in a molded bird's-eye maple frame.
