Victorian Burlwood Lap Desk, late 19th century, rectangular, with brass banding, interior with morocco writing surface and lidded wells, opening to satinwood interior, wd. 18, dp. 11, ht. 6 3/4 in. Left side of top completely lacking stringing and top is a little wonky in it's fit to the base; interior fine.
