Diminutive Italian Neoclassical-style Inlaid Oak Settee, early 20th century, rectangular backrest inlaid with an armorial to a central raised shield, upholstered a chassis , scrolled arms above a slip seat, square tapered legs ending in cuffed feet, inlaid all over with stringing, checkered banding and cuffing to feet, backrest with presentation inscription, seat ht. 18 1/2, lg. 36 1/2 in. Overall very good condition except for about four inches of missing veneer to left front leg; apparently an envelope with pieces accompanies the lot; however, it is not with the piece now. Color good; age typical additional defects.
