French Baroque Walnut and Upholstered Stool, third quarter 17th century, rectangular overupholstered seat on block and ring-turned legs joined by stretchers, ht. 14 1/4, wd. 20, dp. 14 1/2 in. Overall very good; upholstery apparently period but not original; age typical losses to legs and stretchers; seatrails restored and possibly replaced in 19th century; also possibly reduced in height.
