George II Silver Mug, London, 1746, Henry Brind, maker, baluster form, with leaf-topped serpentine handle, slightly flaring foot, later engraved with foliate C-scrolls, with presentation inscription dated 1843, ht. 4 in., approx. 7 troy oz. Inscription reading: Juanito. From C Forsyth Grant, Novr. 30 1843. Later engraving. Thumbsized dent to bulbous portion of body. base of handle pushed into body somewhat (causing halo to interior of body). Edge of footrim pushed upwards a bit, so foot does not sit flat.
