Irish Georgian Silver Sugar Basket, Dublin, c. 1770s, maker's mark WB, possibly William Bond, oval, stamped with three roundels, enclosing urn, bust of a boy, and a crest, respectively, conjoined by drapery swags, on reticulated fish scale ground, with swing handle, trumpet foot, and cobalt glass liner, ht. 3 3/8 in., approx. 6 troy oz. no date letter. marks a little rubbed at edges. Surface wear from cleaning to raised decoration of urn and bust roundels. minor age wear.
