Continental Gold-washed Silver Bowl, 19th century, lobed ovoid bowl on conforming ovoid foot, with small serpentine handle topped by small griffin heads, with engraved rocaille cartouche centered by two stipple-engraved monograms, wd. to handles 9 3/4, ht. 4 3/4 in., approx. 8 troy oz. solder repair spot to one side of body, and to join of top of handle to body. another monogram stipple engraved to underside of foot. minor age wear. likely lacquered.
