Triple-Decker Shelf Clock by Birge & Ives, Bristol, Connecticut, with carved eagle splat, carved columns flanking the painted wooden dial with Roman numerals, looking glass midsection and lower door with reverse-painted tablet, maker's label inside backboard, replacement New Haven eight-day time and strike movement with two weights and pendulum, ht. 36 in. case elements need re-gluing, columns and lower door need re-attachment, lower glass is the remains of the original, movement is a replacement.
