Nineteen Unframed Broadway Costume Designs, 1920s-60s, including three examples attributed to Marco Montedoro, watercolor and graphite on paper with annotations and inscriptions, two presumably for the actor Lawrence Tibbett in the 1923 production of King Lear and one presumably for Walter Hampden in the 1925 production of Othello ; three examples by Stewart Chaney for the 1944 production of The Duke in Darkness , all signed and dated, watercolor and graphite on paper with annotations, executed for actors Raymond Burr, Louis Hector, and Philip Merivale; an example for the 1966 production of The Country Wife , attributed to James Hart Stearns, watercolor and graphite on paper, annotated for actor Stacy Keach playing the role of Mr. Horner; nine designs for an production of MacBeth , and three unsigned costume designs for Richard II , pen and ink with colored pencil on paper, two with annotation sheets indicating Ellis Rabb and the Association of Producing Artists as collaborators.
