Helen Kiner McCarthy (American, 1884-1927) Autumn Glow Unsigned, identified in a period inscription in the artist's hand affixed to the reverse. Oil on board, 8 1/2 x 11 in. (21.6 x 27.9 cm), framed (under glass). Condition: Board warped, wear/losses to edges, scattered retouch c.r., small puncture with loss u.r., surface grime. Abrasions and paint loss to edges, with the largest area approximately 1/4 x 1/8 in., minor craquelure, paint loss in u.l. quadrant (approx. 1/4 x 1/4 in.).
