Signed "William Starkweather" l.r., identified in an inscription, probably period, on the reverse, a partial label from Hickory Museum of Art, Hickory, North Carolina, affixed to the reverse. Oil on canvas, 23 x 29 in. (58.4 x 73.6 cm), unframed. Condition: Tears, damage to the tacking edge, surface grime.
