James McBey (British, 1883-1959) Along the Grand Canal, Venice, 1925. Signed "James McBey" in ink l.r., inscribed "XXI" in ink l.l., signed, inscribed and dated "...Venice October..." in the plate. Etching on paper, plate size 12 7/8 x 8 3/8 in. (32.6 x 21.2 cm), framed. Condtion: Margins 1/2 inch or more, subtle toning, not examined out of frame. Provenance: From the Estates of Mary Ann and Frederick Lippitt, Providence, Rhode Island.
